This overview is plain language only. The complete Terms below control if there is a conflict with the summary.
Please protect your documents. Keep independent backups before editing, converting, overwriting, moving, or deleting important files. Document conversion can change formatting or content.
Your mandatory consumer rights are not limited by these Terms.
1. Agreement, scope, and eligibility
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Tmobix ("Tmobix," "we," "us," or "our") for your use of OPD Office and related services that link to these Terms. By tapping an acceptance control, purchasing a subscription, or using OPD Office after these Terms have been made available to you, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
You must be at least 13 and legally permitted to use the app. If you have not reached the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms for you. If you use OPD Office for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that organization.
Mandatory laws in your country, including consumer-protection rights that cannot be waived by contract, continue to apply.
2. License to use the app
Subject to these Terms, Tmobix grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use OPD Office on devices you own or control, as permitted by the applicable app store's rules, for lawful personal or internal organizational purposes.
OPD Office, its original interface, branding, and proprietary code are owned by Tmobix or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. The app also includes open-source software and third-party materials governed by their own licenses. Those licenses control where they grant rights that differ from these Terms, and applicable notices are available in the app.
Except where applicable law or an open-source license expressly permits it, you may not copy, sell, sublicense, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, bypass technical restrictions in, or create a derivative work from the app.
3. Your documents and responsibility
You retain your rights in documents and other content you open, create, edit, scan, convert, sign, record, or export with OPD Office. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions needed to use that content and that your activity complies with law and any duties of confidentiality.
Local document processing does not transfer ownership to Tmobix. When you direct OPD Office to use a cloud provider or send content to support, you authorize the technical processing and transmission reasonably necessary to perform your request.
Maintain independent backups. Editing, conversion, compression, repair, format translation, synchronization, device failure, or user error can alter, overwrite, corrupt, or delete a file. Review important outputs before relying on them and avoid making the only copy of an important document the working copy.
You are responsible for document accuracy and the legal effect of signatures, annotations, redactions, encryption, or converted output. OPD Office does not provide legal, tax, accounting, medical, or other professional advice, and a visual signature or annotation may not satisfy electronic-signature rules in every jurisdiction.
4. Optional cloud services
You may choose to connect Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, or Dropbox. You authorize OPD Office to access the account data and files covered by the permissions you approve and by the actions you take in the app. Google Drive access is limited to app-created or Picker-selected files; the OneDrive Files.ReadWrite permission and configured Full Dropbox access allow broader account-wide file browsing and user-directed operations. The cloud provider, not Tmobix, controls the provider account, storage capacity, account security, and its own service availability.
You must comply with the provider's terms. You can disconnect a provider in OPD Office and separately revoke OPD Office access from the provider's security settings. Disconnecting OPD Office does not cancel or delete your provider account, and it does not delete files stored by the provider.
Disconnecting can leave downloaded or pending local cloud copies in the OPD Office documents folder. You are responsible for reviewing and deleting those local copies if you no longer want them.
Google Drive information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy and in accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
5. OPD Office accounts
The current version does not create a separate OPD Office account. Signing in to a supported cloud provider is a provider connection and not an account with Tmobix.
If Tmobix introduces account creation later, additional account terms and an in-app deletion flow will be presented before or when the feature becomes available. The external Account and Data Deletion page explains the current status and available data controls.
6. Purchases, subscriptions, trials, and refunds
OPD Office may offer subscriptions or other in-app purchases. The purchase screen and app store show the applicable price, currency, billing period, trial terms, taxes, and included benefits before you confirm a transaction. The store through which you purchase processes payment and governs the billing transaction.
- Automatic renewal: a subscription renews automatically for the period shown at purchase unless you cancel it through the store before the renewal is processed.
- Cancellation: cancel in Google Play, the Apple App Store, or the store used for purchase. Uninstalling OPD Office, clearing app data, disconnecting a cloud provider, or sending a deletion request does not cancel a subscription.
- Access after cancellation: benefits generally continue until the end of the paid period, subject to the store's rules and transaction status.
- Trials and promotions: eligibility, duration, conversion to a paid plan, and limits are shown with the offer. Unless cancelled in time, a trial may convert to a paid subscription as disclosed at purchase.
- Refunds: refund eligibility and processing are governed by the purchasing store and applicable law. Contact the store first unless the purchase screen directs otherwise.
- Entitlements: restoration may require the same store account and platform used for purchase. Cross-platform or cross-store transfer is not guaranteed unless expressly stated.
Tmobix may change future prices or plan features. Required notice, consent, and cancellation options will be provided through the store or app as applicable. A change does not override mandatory billing or consumer-protection law.
7. Free service, usage limits, and advertising
The free version may display banner, interstitial, app-open, or rewarded ads and may apply daily or feature-specific usage limits. A rewarded ad may offer temporary access or an additional action after the required ad event is completed. Availability is not guaranteed.
Quotas, ad formats, eligibility, and free or paid feature boundaries may change as the service evolves. Changes will not remove a paid entitlement during an already-paid period where doing so would violate the purchase terms or applicable law.
Any stars, credits, rewarded-ad benefits, or usage allowances are limited permissions to use the specified app features. They have no cash value, are not transferable, and are not property. Tmobix may correct benefits granted because of fraud or a technical error, but will not remove paid benefits except as permitted by the purchase terms and applicable law.
Advertising services are provided by third parties and may be unavailable, inappropriate for a particular context, or affected by network, region, age, consent, or device settings. Data practices are described in the Advertising section of the Privacy Policy.
8. Acceptable use
You may not use OPD Office to:
- violate law, sanctions, export restrictions, court orders, or another person's rights;
- create, store, or distribute unlawful, abusive, exploitative, deceptive, or infringing content;
- introduce malware, interfere with app or service security, probe systems without authorization, or disrupt another user;
- evade purchase checks, usage limits, app-integrity controls, advertising rules, or access restrictions;
- misrepresent identity or authority, commit fraud, or use the service to harm people or property;
- use third-party cloud data beyond the permissions and purposes authorized by the account holder.
Tmobix may investigate suspected abuse and cooperate with lawful requests. If you believe content or use of OPD Office infringes your rights, contact contact@tmobix.com with enough information to evaluate the notice.
9. Availability, updates, and changes to features
Some features require internet access, compatible hardware, sufficient storage, a supported operating-system version, third-party service availability, or additional downloads. Mobile-data, roaming, cloud-storage, or other third-party charges are your responsibility.
Tmobix may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features; update supported file formats; fix security issues; or require an app update. Tmobix does not promise that every feature, document format, advertisement, provider integration, or version will be available everywhere or indefinitely.
If a paid service is materially discontinued during a paid period, Tmobix will provide the remedy required by the store terms and applicable law.
10. Third-party services and links
OPD Office relies on services such as app stores, Google Play services, Firebase, Google Mobile Ads and mediation partners, Google Drive, OneDrive, and Dropbox. Third-party services and websites are governed by their own terms and policies. Tmobix does not control their independent conduct, availability, content, or account decisions.
Your relationship with the device manufacturer, network provider, app store, cloud provider, or advertising provider is separate from these Terms. Nothing here grants Tmobix ownership of your third-party account.
11. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OPD Office and related services are provided "as is" and "as available." Tmobix disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and error-free operation where such disclaimers are legally permitted.
Tmobix does not warrant that every document will open, render, convert, print, synchronize, recover, or preserve formatting perfectly; that every security or redaction method will be suitable for your purpose; or that data loss will never occur. You should verify important output and keep backups.
These disclaimers do not exclude a warranty or guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded in your jurisdiction.
12. Limitation of liability and consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits consumer guarantees, remedies, or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you use OPD Office as a consumer, Tmobix is responsible for reasonably foreseeable loss caused by its breach of these Terms or failure to use reasonable care.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tmobix is not responsible for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, business loss arising from consumer use, or failure caused solely by events outside its reasonable control. Nothing excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
If you are a consumer, you retain all mandatory statutory remedies. These Terms do not require you to waive rights provided by the law of your usual place of residence.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using OPD Office and uninstall it at any time. You remain responsible for cancelling any subscription through the purchasing store and for managing local or cloud files you want to retain or delete.
Tmobix may restrict access to online or paid features when reasonably necessary to address fraud, security, unlawful conduct, a material breach of these Terms, non-payment, or a legal requirement. Where appropriate and legally required, Tmobix will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, payment obligations already incurred, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions—continue to apply.
14. Changes, applicable law, and disputes
Tmobix may update these Terms to reflect changes to OPD Office, business practices, third-party requirements, or law. The updated Terms will be posted here with a revised effective date. Material changes will receive additional notice where required. If law requires consent to a change, the change will apply only after valid consent.
These Terms are governed by applicable law, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protections or access to courts or dispute-resolution bodies available in the consumer's country of residence. Before starting a formal dispute, you and Tmobix are encouraged to contact each other and try to resolve the issue informally, unless urgent relief or applicable law makes that inappropriate.
If any provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue. A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver. Tmobix may assign these Terms as part of a merger, reorganization, or transfer of the app, subject to applicable law; you may not assign them without permission except where law allows.
